OnLine Data Analysis System

Processing pipeline managed by OLDAS and allows for real-time data processing and assigns confirmation of the most interesting objects at the night of their preliminary discovery.



Modern viewer of obtained results with a user-friendly GUI. The viewer runs independently of the main program and it can be used for independent review of CoLiTec operation results .


Storage and access to all obtained images

Software allows to manage of archive, including searching for data by parameters (coordinates). Retrieve additional data via VizieR (SDSS v8 and 2MASS).

CoLiTec operation results can be monitored from anywhere in the world. All that is required is any modern smartphones, a tablet or laptops running on any OS platform.

CoLiTec discoveries

Trojan asteroids of Jupiter

Group of asteroids that are in the vicinity of the Lagrange points L4 and L5 of Jupiter in a 1:1 orbital resonance. These asteroids were named after characters in the Trojan War, described in the Iliad.

Near Earth asteroids

Class of small planets in the Solar System, moving between the orbits of Jupiter and Neptune. By May 2000, the family of centaurs were already about 15 members; all of them give the names of the mythical centaurs: Foul, Ness and other centaurs diameters of 100-300 km and they have a very dark surface.

"Our observatory opened the hundredth asteroid! This is an ordinary main-belt asteroid, designated 2010 XU12. The asteroid was discovered by entering our "record" review on December 2nd , the entrance of which was discovered 139 new objects! And made ​​3196 measurements per night. "…The Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (Russian Academy of Sciences) scientist Leonid Elenin discovered a new comet tenth day of December last year, the survey by analyzing frames taken from a remote-controlled telescope automated observatory ISON-NM. This non-governmental Observatory built by the project of the International Astronomical International Scientific Optical Network (ISON). It is located in the mountains of New Mexico (USA), at a height of more than two kilometers, the main mirror of its review of the telescope has a diameter of 455 mm. Frames were processed by the CoLiTec software, created by Ukrainian specialists to detect moving space objects - asteroids, comets and debris - debris rockets and satellites, randomly moving around the Earth. After mathematical frames processing Leonid manually checked to weed out the noise and identify the set of celestial bodies such objects of interest. During this test, L. Elenin discovered slightly blurred trail, not like the asteroid left, and concluded - a new comet was found…"
